What is morality?

The REAL final blog....

Okay so all along I could not find any videos I felt were appropriate for my blog (well ones I felt were worthy enough to be on here). However, today I was looking around on youTube and found this. First of all, check out who posted it and the name will reveal alot. Even though the source holds beliefs I strongly disagree with, it does raise some valid points, so let me know what you think!

FINAL BLOG!

1. Upon evaluating all the different types of minds out there, I believe I am the ethical mind. I love challenging social etiquette along with trends in society. After all, my blog is about morality in legislation, so this says it all.
2. I challenged my own beliefs throughout the process of this assignment, for when I started my blog, I went into it with the mindset that legislation should be kept out of morality, but after doing more investigation i decided to change my stance. I also exhibited curiosity in my blog, for I investigated other points of view throughly. Lastly, I experimented with new ideas and evalutated my point of view to incorporate my new thoughts.
3. I realized that my viewpoints can change. I am often of the stubborn type that is slow to change their opinion of certain viewpoints; however, I realized that once I open my mind to other viewpoints, I will be surprised to find out what I know.

When I saw this image, I automatically put this on here because I think it very clearly illustrates the theme of my entire blog. The arrows are all pointing different ways, and therefore it is up to each individual to pick which way to go. Which path will you choose?

About that POLL

Okay so after some people commented on my p0ll, as you can see the "overwhelming majority"(well four people, but it is still a majority) said that morality is a personal opinion and should be kept out of the language of the law. This elicitly demonstrates how high school age students feel how legislation should not be regulated by morality (or even ethics).
